We have been visiting the Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast for many years. Only a short drive from Brisbane, it is a perfect weekend get-away.
It was the first time since the refurbishment that we stayed at the Sheraton Mirage Resort again. We found a pleasing, stylish and contemporary new-look. Set amongst 3.4 hectares of sparkling lagoons and tropical gardens, the exclusive beach front location of the Sheraton Mirage, provides a unique and relaxing five-star resort experience.

Room with an Ocean View
The ocean view from our spacious room was spectacular, the welcome treats unexpected, but very much appreciated. We didn’t make use of the hotels extensive conference, meeting and event facilities, but thoroughly enjoyed the resort’s pool, the gym and the day spa. Unfortunately, the tennis courts were temporarily closed for renovation, but there is always next time.
When it comes to dining, the Sheraton Mirage caters to a variety of tastes through its award winning restaurants and bars. You can spoil yourself at the most renowned seafood buffet on the Gold Coast at the Terraces Restaurant. The buffet includes fresh local seafood, a large variety of traditional favourites and sumptuous desserts.
Looking for a place to relax overlooking the Pacific Ocean, visit the new-look Pearls Bar and try an ingenious cocktail in the evening or if High Tea is on your list, experience the sweet and savoury taste sensations at the Pearls bar during the day.
Enjoying every minute at the sophisticated and modern world-class venue, we were not even tempted to go shopping or visit Surfer’s Paradise, even though it’s only a short five minutes drive away.
